La Lindemannsruhe, a menudo llamada Lindemannsruh en el lugar, es un puerto de montaña situado a 468,9 m de altura en una exclusiva forestal de aproximadamente 436 hectáreas de la pequeña ciudad de Freinsheim en el distrito de Bad Dürkheim. Recibe su nombre, al igual que la casa forestal construida allí, del antiguo jefe forestal Karl Friedrich Ludwig Lindemann, quien prestó servicio aquí desde 1855 hasta 1883.
