La Bäumlersklippe es una saliente rocosa en el Parque Nacional Harz, al suroeste de Ilsenburg. Aunque antiguamente fue un mirador popular, del que quedan aún restos de una valla, hoy en día el entorno está cubierto por hayas y abetos.
La roca recibió su nombre del cazador "Bäumler". Se dice que en 1752, por celos, apuñaló a su propio hijo y más tarde se arrojó desde esta roca hacia la perdición. Este dramático acontecimiento familiar legendario fue recogido por Theodor Fontane y se incorporó a su relato "Ellernklipp".
