El Museo al Aire Libre de LWL en Detmold se encuentra en la ciudad lipisca de Detmold en Renania del Norte-Westfalia. El museo está administrado por la Asociación del Paisaje de Westfalia-Lippe. Inaugurado en 1971, el museo al aire libre lleva el subtítulo de Museo Provincial de Westfalia para la Cultura Cotidiana y es uno de los más importantes de su tipo en Europa y, según sus propias declaraciones, el más grande de Alemania con 90 hectáreas de superficie y alrededor de 120 edificios históricos.
