El molino Röder se encuentra en el antiguo cauce del río Grande Röder en Saathain, una parte del municipio de Röderland en el sur de Brandeburgo.
Como escribió el pastor e historiador Wolfgang Bastian en 1941 en una carta al propietario del molino Weber, el molino Röder fue mencionado por primera vez en el siglo XVI en los documentos de feudo del dominio de Saathain. El edificio fue ampliado a cuatro plantas en 1932 y contaba con un anexo de almacén, así como una rueda de pala de tres metros de ancho con un diámetro de 5,5 metros, tres coronas de madera y cucharas de metal.
