La escuela catedralicia de Lübeck fue la escuela más antigua de la ciudad como escuela de Latín de la diócesis de Lübeck y existió desde 1163 hasta 1810.
La escuela catedralicia de Lübeck fue establecida con la reubicación de la sede episcopal de Oldenburg a Lübeck bajo el obispo Gerold. Estaba unida al monasterio del cabildo catedralicio y estaba bajo la supervisión de los canónigos del capítulo catedralicio de Lübeck. La misión educativa de esta escuela tenía dos direcciones: por un lado, la formación de jóvenes clérigos y, como schola exterior, la enseñanza de conocimientos de latín a los hijos de la burguesía urbana y de la nobleza de la zona.
