El Hundsmarter es una montaña en las montañas de Erzgebirge, en el sur del municipio de Raschau-Markersbach. Forma el final de una cresta montañosa que se extiende desde el Fichtelberg, entre los ríos Großer Mittweida y Kleiner Mittweida y Pöhlwasser. En él se encuentra la cuenca superior de la central hidroeléctrica de bombeo de Markersbach, construida entre 1970 y 1978. Durante su construcción, se aplanó la cima de la montaña. Así, hoy en día, el dique de la cuenca superior a 848,4 m sobre el nivel del mar es el punto más alto.
Su nombre se dice que se debe al transporte de sal que anteriormente pasaba por él, principalmente operado por carros tirados por perros, hacia Bohemia. Otras denominaciones históricamente documentadas de la montaña son Blöselstein o Blösenstein.
