El Mühlenteich de Linnich es un curso de agua que se bifurca por encima de la presa de Linnich del Rur. Se le ha asignado el número de marca de agua 2826.
El Mühlenteich de Linnich cruza detrás de Linnich el Merzbach y fluye en dirección norte, primero hacia el este a lo largo de Brachelen. Entre Hilfarth y Porselen se conecta con el Wurm y, especialmente en caso de crecidas en el Wurm, absorbe parte del agua del Wurm. El curso posterior del Mühlenteich de Linnich desde la conexión con el Wurm corresponde aproximadamente a la trayectoria anterior del Wurm; a partir del punto de conexión, el Mühlenteich de Linnich lleva en los mapas el nombre de Erlenbach. El Erlenbach desemboca al norte de Bleckden, una localidad de Porselen, en el Schanz frente al Adolfosee en el Rur. En cambio, el Wurm se une al Rur solo en Heinsberg-Kempen.
