La diócesis de Espira es una división eclesiástica de la Iglesia católica, sufragánea de la arquidiócesis de Bamberga. En el 2014 contaba 557.561 bautizados sobre 1.543.632 habitantes. El actual obispo es Karl-Heinz Wiesemann.[1]
La diócesis comprende parte de Renania-Palatinado y de Sarre, en Alemania. Su territorio corresponde a la histórica región del Palatinato, que hasta 1918 hacía parte del reino de Baviera.[2]
