El Wollenberg es una montaña de 474 m de altura, completamente cubierta de bosques, en el distrito de Marburg-Biedenkopf, Hesse. Es una de las montañas más orientales de la Sierra de Renania. En su pico más alto se encontraba en otro tiempo el castillo de Eckelskirche, de el cual hoy sólo quedan restos.
Al suroeste de Wetter se eleva el Estado forestal de Wetter-Oeste, que abarca alrededor de 14 km². La montaña está formada por los tres picos principales Norn al norte y Wollenberg y Eckelskirche al sur. Por lo tanto, se eleva aproximadamente 200 m por encima de la ciudad alta de Wetter y casi 90 m sobre el conocido Christenberg cerca de Münchhausen. El área boscosa está enmarcada por las localidades de Amönau y Oberndorf al norte, Warzenbach al oeste, así como las partes del municipio de Lahntal Brungershausen al suroeste, Caldern al sur y Sterzhausen al suroeste.
