El teleférico de Eibsee era un teleférico entre la estación de valle en Eibsee y la estación de montaña en la cima de Zugspitze. Superó con casi 2000 m de todas las telecabinas del mundo la mayor diferencia de altura dentro de una sección. La operadora era la Bayerische Zugspitzbahn Bergbahn AG, una filial de los servicios públicos de Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Después de que el teleférico cesara su servicio el 2 de abril de 2017, fue reemplazado en diciembre de 2017 por el teleférico Zugspitze, que recorre casi la misma ruta. El nuevo teleférico de Eibsee establece tres récords mundiales, a saber, la mayor diferencia de altura total; además, tiene el soporte de acero más grande y el campo de tensión libre más largo.
La razón para construir un teleférico desde el Eibsee bávaro hasta Zugspitze fue que se quería llevar a los turistas más rápidamente a la cima de Zugspitze que lo que hasta entonces era habitual con el tren de cremallera, el teleférico y el tren de cumbre. Se decidió construir un teleférico.
