La reserva natural Werder Kietz se encuentra en el municipio de Lenzerwische, en el distrito de Prignitz en Brandeburgo.
El área con el número de identificación 1423 fue declarada área protegida mediante un decreto del 16 de mayo de 1990. La reserva natural, que abarca aproximadamente 127 ha, se extiende al noroeste, oeste y sur del pueblo central de Lenzerwische y al oeste de Kietz, una parte habitada del municipio de Lenzerwische. El área se sitúa directamente a orillas del Elba que fluye hacia el oeste. A lo largo del centro del Elba se encuentra la frontera estatal con Baja Sajonia, y la B 195 se encuentra al este.
