La antigua estación de tren de Hilders se encuentra en Hilders, en el distrito de Fulda, en Hesse. Una vez fue un punto de conexión de tres líneas hacia Götzenhof, Vacha y Wüstensachsen.
El 12 de diciembre de 1890, se inauguró solemnemente el tramo Bieberstein - Hilders de la línea ferroviaria denominada "Rhönbahn" que conecta Götzenhof-Hilders. Seis meses después, el 1 de junio de 1891, también se abrió al tráfico la extensión de la línea hacia el norte a lo largo del valle de la Ulster hasta Tann. En 1909 se completó la conexión con la Ulstertalbahn entre Geisa y Tann. Así, se estableció una conexión continua al valle del Werra, que se había convertido en un centro de la industria de sal potásica.
