Kornelimünster/Walheim es uno de los siete distritos de la ciudad de Aquisgrán. Es el distrito más al sur de la ciudad de Aquisgrán y se encuentra en la frontera con Bélgica y la Eifel. El paisaje se llama Münsterländchen.
El distrito de Kornelimünster/Walheim fue creado cuando, en el marco de la reforma territorial en Renania del Norte-Westfalia, siete municipios de las afueras fueron incorporados a Aquisgrán según la Ley de Aquisgrán el 1 de enero de 1972, incluidos los municipios autónomos de Kornelimünster y Walheim hasta ese momento. Mientras que el municipio de Walheim fue integrado en su totalidad en Aquisgrán, partes del municipio de Kornelimünster, incluidos los pueblos de Breinig y Venwegen, se incorporaron a la ciudad de Stolberg. Walheim y las partes de Kornelimünster incorporadas a Aquisgrán constituyen desde entonces dos de las secciones de Aquisgrán y se combinaron con las secciones de Lichtenbusch y Sief, que ya pertenecían a Aquisgrán, para formar el nuevo distrito de Kornelimünster/Walheim.
