La Ruta del Arroyo le lleva a través del paisaje sureño del distrito de Rotenburg (Wümme) con sus bosques, prados y campos atravesados por numerosos arroyos. Durante su recorrido pasará por idílicas aldeas y joyas pequeñas, como el molino de agua Federlohmühlen, y llegará a la Gran y Blanca Turbera con los dos lagos Bullensee. En el Gran Bullensee incluso se puede nadar.
