Miengo es un municipio y localidad de la comunidad autónoma de Cantabria . En 2010 contaba con una población de 4540 habitantes, frente a los 3867 habitantes en 2005 . Limita al norte con el Mar Cantábrico, al oeste con la Ría de San Martín de la Arena, a cuya otra orilla se encuentra Suances, al sur con Polanco y al este con Piélagos.
