Santa Pola[3] es un municipio de la Comunidad Valenciana situado en la costa de la provincia de Alicante, en la comarca del Bajo Vinalopó. Contaba con 33 303 habitantes en 2020 .[4] Los principales atractivos de Santa Pola son sus restos históricos, su puerto, sus salinas y sus playas dotadas de bandera azul, símbolo de calidad ambiental otorgado por la Fundación Europea de Educación Ambiental.
