El parque natural de las Marismas del Ampurdán es un espacio natural protegido español de la provincia de Gerona, Cataluña. Tiene una superficie aproximada de 4722,7 ha, de las que 824 son reserva natural integral estrictamente protegida. Se sitúa en la comarca del Alto Ampurdán, que afecta a los términos municipales de, por orden de superficie, Castellón de Ampurias , San Pedro Pescador Palau Sabardera , Perelada , Pau , Pedret y Marsá , La Escala , Rosas y La Armentera . La declaración de parque natural tiene un doble objetivo: por una parte, conservar, mejorar y potenciar los sistemas naturales y, por otra parte, hacer compatibles la conservación y el desarrollo económico.[1]
