El vuelo 1008 de Dan Air fue un vuelo de pasajeros accidentado el 25 de abril de 1980. El vuelo, realizado en un Boeing 727 de la compañía inglesa Dan Air realizaba el vuelo entre Manchester y Tenerife, cayó a unos 20 kilómetros del aeropuerto tinerfeño de Los Rodeos durante la aproximación para el aterrizaje. Fallecieron los 146 ocupantes de la nave. Se produjo sólo 3 años después del gravísimo accidente de Los Rodeos que dejó 583 fallecidos.
El Boeing 727-46 con número de serie 19279/288 fue construido en junio de 1966 y entregado a Japan Air Lines. Posteriormente pasó a manos de la japonesa TOA Domestic, que lo vendería a Dan Air en agosto de 1974. Por tanto, tenía 13 años y 10 meses en el momento del accidente.
