El pueblo se alza sobre un gran peñón que garantiza unas vistas espectaculares y es importante aprovechar esta privilegiada circunstancia. El macizo tiene aproximadamente 100 metros de altura y un kilómetro y medio de largo y fue formado durante miles de años por el río Guadalete .
La posición elevada del Mirador de San Agustín permite contemplar uno de los meandros del río Guadalete y las montañas de Bornos y Barranco .
También es posible visitar parte de la muralla (Torre de San Antón), el embalse de Arcos, Villamartín y La Angostura.
