La séptima etapa del Camino del Cid discurre por zona montañosa, constantemente por encima de los 1000m. La primera parte tiene algunas subidas pronunciadas, seguidas de un largo descenso hasta Cobeta. En el pueblo hay un bar y hay una torre del castillo justo encima (de fácil acceso a través de unas escaleras). Después de un descenso al valle del Tajo, aquí un arroyo insignificante, hay que subir unos pocos kilómetros pesadamente. Esto es seguido por un largo descenso a Molina de Aragón, una hermosa ciudad medieval con muchos monumentos y un castillo del siglo 12.
