Entre calas y pinares.
La etapa 4 del Camí de Cavalls se desarrolla en la costa norte de Menorca, a lo largo del término municipal de Es Mercadal, desde la playa Arenal D´En Castell hasta Cala Tirant. Esta etapa se introduce en algunos de los ecosistemas más característicos del clima mediterráneo, recorriendo acantilados, humedales, playas, bosques, mosaicos agroforestales y la Bahía de Fornells. La relación entre los habitantes de la isla y el entorno se muestra en varios de los enclaves por los que discurre la etapa destacando la evolución histórica y cultural de la isla como yacimientos arqueológicos o zonas turísticas y de ocio, pasando por producciones tradicionales de sal, cereales y ganado.
