La Salle Le Peletier o Lepeletier fue el hogar de la Ópera de París desde 1821 hasta que el edificio fue destruido por un incendio en 1873. El teatro fue diseñado y construido por el arquitecto François Debret en el sitio del jardín del Hôtel de Choiseul en la rue Lepeletier. Debido a los muchos cambios de gobierno y gestión durante la existencia del teatro, tuvo una serie de nombres oficiales diferentes, los más importantes de los cuales fueron: Théâtre de l'Académie Royale de Musique, Opéra-Théâtre de la Nation, Théâtre de l'Académie Nationale de Musique, Théâtre de l'Académie Impériale de Musique, Théâtre Impérial de l'Opéra y Théâtre National de l'Opéra.
