El vuelo 296 Q de Air Charter[1] era un vuelo de prueba de un Airbus A320 de Air France, alquilado por Air Charter, en la exhibición aérea de Habsheim, Alsacia el 26 de junio de 1988. La aproximación iba a tener lugar con el avión a 100 pies , pero el avión descendió a una altura menor de la prevista y se estrelló al final de la pista, matando a 3 pasajeros a bordo, siendo este el primer accidente mortal de un Airbus A320 en el mundo.
