"Rey de Francia y de Navarra..." Fue sólo una pequeña zona del antiguo reino de Navarra la que permitió a Enrique III, hijo de la reina Juana de Albret, proclamarse rey de Navarra, antes de ser llamado a la corte francesa para convertirse en el célebre Enrique IV. Navarra, ahora conocida como Baja Navarra, formó parte de un reino más grande durante la Edad Media, luego fue un reino por derecho propio durante la Edad Moderna, antes de que sus últimas instituciones fueran disueltas por el Reino de Francia y la Revolución. ¿Cuáles fueron los procesos de esta transformación? ¿Quiénes fueron los que dieron vida a este territorio y modelaron su paisaje?
