La Universidad de Loughborough es una universidad situada en la ciudad de Loughborough, en el condado de Leicestershire, del Reino Unido. La universidad ha sido considerada como la 6ª mejor en el Reino Unido por la guía de universidades de 2007, previamente siendo concedidos 5 premios del aniversario de la reina, un expediente igualado solamente por la universidad de Oxford.
Fue fundada en el año 1909, cuando el entonces Instituto Técnico de Loughborough
comenzó con un foco sobre habilidades y conocimiento que sería directamente aplicable en el más amplio sentido, una tradición que sigue hasta este hoy día, con el UNIEI financió la Revisión Anual sobre Actividades de Transferencia de Tecnología de Universidad de Loughborough para transferir de tecnología más eficiente en el Reino Unido.
