Cold Ash Quarry es un sitio geológico de interés científico especial de 0.4 hectáreas al norte de Newbury en Berkshire. Es un sitio de revisión de conservación geológica.
La cantera es única en Gran Bretaña por la colección de plantas fósiles e insectos que se encuentran en una capa de limo y arcilla dentro de los Reading Beds. Los fósiles datan de hace unos 60 millones de años. La flora fósil consiste en hojas de angiospermas bien conservadas; en algunos de estos fósiles hay evidencia de la actividad de insectos minadores de hojas contemporáneos. Este es el único lugar en Gran Bretaña donde se ha descubierto actividad de insectos minadores de hojas fósiles.
