Livorno es una ciudad italiana situada en la Toscana, capital de la provincia homónima. En la actualidad constituye un centro industrial y puerto libre a orillas del Mediterráneo, con importante presencia de los sectores químico, con una refinería de petróleo, y metalúrgico.
Antiguamente fue conocida en español como «Liorna», pero hoy se usa con más frecuencia la forma «Livorno».[1]
