El castillo Ursino es un castillo del siglo XIII ubicado en Catania y antiguamente considerado como "inexpugnable". Construido alrededor del año 1239, es conocido principalmente por el papel que tuvo durante el episodio de las Vísperas sicilianas, cuando se convirtió en la sede del Parlamento siciliano, y luego en la residencia del rey Federico II de Sicilia. Fue uno de los escasos edificios de Catania que resistió al terremoto de 1693. El castillo está organizado según un plano rectangular, con un patio descubierto central y amplias torres circulares en cada esquina.
