La Iglesia de San Giuliano es uno de los lugares de culto católico más antiguos de Erice, dedicada a San Giuliano, mártir en el año 254 d.C. Fue tan importante que el monte Erice se llamó Monte San Giuliano hasta 1934.
Entre los normandos en 1080 era una pequeña iglesia de estilo gótico, iglesia parroquial del barrio del mismo nombre. Fue reconstruida y adaptada en el período comprendido entre 1612 y 1645. El campanario exterior de la iglesia, adyacente a la derecha, con un característico techo de pagoda, fue construido en 1770. Debido al colapso de la nave central en 1926 , la iglesia fue en mal estado hasta recientes restauraciones cerrado al culto. Los valiosos muebles y cubiertos se trasladaron a otra parte.
