Erpeldingen an der Sauer es una comuna en el Gran Ducado de Luxemburgo y pertenece al cantón de Diekirch. Junto con las comunas de Bettendorf, Colmar-Berg, Diekirch, Ettelbrück y Schieren, Erpeldingen forma el núcleo de la Nordstad. Esta región es considerada, junto con las ciudades de Luxemburgo y Esch-sur-Alzette, como el tercer polo de desarrollo del Gran Ducado.
