El castillo de Differdange, ubicado en una colina en el centro de Differdange en el sur de Luxemburgo, fue construido en 1577, aunque un castillo fortificado anterior de Differdange data de alrededor de 1310. El actual château residencial es utilizado por la Universidad de Miami.
El primer señor del castillo de Differdange fue Wilhelm, hermano del señor de Soleuvre, que se menciona en documentos de 1310 cuando poseía un castillo fortificado. Sin embargo, los señores de Differdange duraron solo hasta la muerte del nieto de Wilhelm alrededor del año 1400. Cuando el castillo de Soleuvre se quemó en 1552, la propietaria Anna von Insenburg decidió no repararlo, sino construir un castillo residencial de estilo renacentista en Differdange que sirviera tanto a Soleuvre como a Differdange.
