La Keutenberg es quizás la subida más temida en la zona montañosa. Especialmente al principio es muy empinada. El 22% indicado se alcanza brevemente aquí. Los primeros 500 m son los más difíciles. Comienzas con 50 m al 20%, después asciendes 450 m con una media de alrededor del 15%. Después de 500 m pasas el cartel del nombre del lugar Keutenberg y te encuentras con el famoso cartelito del 22%. En la meseta hacia la granja Blankenberg, el 'falso plano' sigue doliendo durante más de un kilómetro.
