En Woudrichem, los ríos Mosa y Rin - llamado aquí Waal - se reúnen nuevamente, después de que se separaran en la orgullosa Doornenburg. De esta manera, los ríos marcan el tono, de manera que se habla de la tierra de Mosa y Waal.
