Al entrar en el museo, retrocede inmediatamente en el tiempo. Se representan escenas características de la guerra y se reconstruyen de manera realista. El museo también cuenta con una impresionante colección de objetos militares tanto de la fuerza ocupante como de los liberadores canadienses. Además de los objetos, hay muchas fotos que ilustran la operación aliada en el otoño de 1944. En esa ocasión, los canadienses lucharon contra el ocupante alemán para conquistar la desembocadura del Escalda Occidental.
