Bentwoud es un área natural y recreativa entre Zoetermeer, Hazerswoude, Boskoop y Moerkapelle. El área se inauguró el 18 de junio de 2016.
Originalmente se planeó transformar un área de 1300 ha en un bosque con mucho espacio para la recreación. El plan, que estuvo en desarrollo durante veinte años, se vio afectado por recortes severos. A finales de 2012 se habían adquirido 750 hectáreas y solo se habían plantado árboles en 250 hectáreas. En 2016 constaba de más de 800 hectáreas.
