Bronneger es una pequeña aldea en el municipio de Borger-Odoorn, provincia de Drenthe. Se encuentra a unos 18 kilómetros al este de Assen.
Bronneger es una aldea es, que probablemente se originó en el siglo XIII o XIV como un pueblo satélite de Drouwen, en el borde del valle del arroyo del Voorste Diep, debido al asentamiento de una familia de agricultores de Drouwen que no tenía suficientes posibilidades de subsistencia allí. La aldea se menciona por primera vez en 1381.
