Giersbergen es un asentamiento al sur de Drunen en el municipio de Heusden en la provincia neerlandesa de Brabante Septentrional. Tiene 28 habitantes y se encuentra en el lado norte del Parque Nacional De Loonse en Drunense Duinen.
Giersbergen surge a mediados del siglo XIII. En una copia de un documento, que se puede encontrar en la Biblioteca Real de Bruselas, el lector encuentra al final como fecha el año 1244: Datum anno Domini millesimo ducentesimo quadragesimo quarto. El documento describe cómo Hendrik van Herentals, alcalde de 's-Hertogenbosch, por orden de Hendrik II, duque de Brabante, transfiere 150 bunder de tierra a la abadía de Ter Kameren a cambio del pago de un censo anual. La abadía también recibe el derecho a disfrutar de los terrenos comunes del alodio Drunen.
