El puente de Svinesund es un puente en arco que cruza el fiordo de Idde en el estrecho de Svinesund y une Suecia y Noruega.[1] Svinesund es un seno que separa el municipio sueco de Strömstad del noruego de Halden, por lo que es la frontera entre Noruega y Suecia en esta región. El puente es el paso fronterizo más occidental entre los dos países, y por él pasa la ruta europea E6, que es una de las principales vías de tráfico de la zona, ya que conecta Oslo y el resto de Noruega con Gotemburgo, Malmö, Copenhague y el resto de Europa.
