Gamlitz est une commune de marché autrichienne comptant 3204 habitants, située au sud du district judiciaire politique et du district de Leibnitz en Styrie. Elle se trouve dans la vallée de la Gamlitzbach, au sud de la région des collines de l'Ouest styrien, à la frontière entre l'Autriche et la Slovénie. Depuis le 1er janvier 2015, la commune a été fusionnée avec la commune de Sulztal an der Weinstraße dans le cadre de la réforme de la structure communale en Styrie et continue de porter le nom de Gamlitz.
