Le parcours comprend 4 virages, et le col est à une altitude de 1247 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer. En direction nord-est, la route de Leutasch continue jusqu'à Mittenwald en Bavière/ALLEMAGNE. À l'ouest du Buchener Höhe se trouve la Hohe Munde, qui s'élève à 2 662 m.
