L'église paroissiale de Saint-Gilgen se trouve dans la commune de Saint-Gilgen, dans le district de Salzburg-Umgebung, dans le territoire de Salzbourg. L'église catholique romaine est depuis 1856 une église paroissiale et fait partie du décanat de Thalgau dans l'archidiocèse de Salzbourg. Le patronage est célébré le 1er septembre, à la fête de Saint-Gilles, en mémoire de Saint Gilles.
