Église paroissiale néo-gothique de la période 1895-1899 conçue par l’architecte C. De Maeght. L’église avec le presbytère à droite formait le nouveau centre religieux de Huizingen. L’ancienne fonction d’église de pèlerinage en l’honneur de Saint Léonard a été reprise par la nouvelle église, ce qui a entraîné la création d’un café de pèlerinage 'In den gouden appel' au nord de l’église.
