Bockor est fabriqué ici dans la brasserie Bockor. Omer Vander Ghinste était le brasseur qui a fabriqué Bockor. Bockor avait beaucoup de cafés. Le café Sportwereld à proximité est l’un d’entre eux. Pour faire de la publicité, Omer Vande Ghinste a placé des fenêtres coupe-feu dans les cafés avec son nom et le nom de la bière. Quand le fils est arrivé, il s’appelait aussi Omer, parce que quand le fils a pris la relève, ils n’ont pas eu à changer ces fenêtres coupe-feu qui étaient chères. La tradition s’est donc poursuivie. Maintenant, il y a déjà 5 générations d’Omer. Ils ont nommé leur dernière bière Omer.
