Le coteau dit "La Heid des Gattes" (site classé comme patrimoine exceptionnel de Wallonie), aussi dénommé "Montagne des Chèvres" est une falaise de grès famennien. Bénéficiant d'un micro-climat, il est surtout connu pour abriter une espèce endémique, d'origine hybride, unique au monde, à laquelle on a donné le nom de "joubarbe d'Aywaille".
