Juste de l’autre côté de la frontière belge, près d’Epen, se trouve le magnifique château de Buesdael dans la vallée. C’est l’homonyme de la pente qui va de Sippenaken à la forêt supérieure. La route offre une large vue sur la région montagneuse dans la région frontalière. La pente moyenne de la montée d’un kilomètre et demi de long est de 5,2%. La pente maximale est de 11%.
