L'église Saint-Joseph est l'église paroissiale du village de Saint-Joseph, qui fait partie de la commune d'Anvers de Rijkevorsel, située au 66, Kerkdreef. La construction du canal Dessel-Turnhout-Schoten de 1864 à 1866 a conduit à l'industrialisation, notamment à la création de fabriques de briques et, dans la ville voisine de Beerse, d'une usine de ciment. Des logements ouvriers ont été construits et en 1905, une paroisse a été fondée. Au départ, les fidèles se rassemblaient dans une église temporaire et de 1907 à 1909, la construction d'une église définitive a été réalisée selon les plans de Jules Taeymans.
