La Métamorphose d'Oliver Laric montre la mutation d'un crapaud ordinaire, ou crapaud européen, en une table. Laric dénoue cette transformation en profondeur. Chaque phase de transformation est une sculpture en soi, de poids et d'importance égale. 'Morphing', la transformation physique qu'un personnage subit, est un thème récurrent dans ses vidéos, installations et sculptures. En représentant des créations moins définies par des catégories, Laric ouvre la voie à une nouvelle relation d'interdépendance qui rend explicite la supériorité de l'homme.
