Départ de la Sint-Godarduskerk du village de Bekkerzeel pour une randonnée rapide le long de petites routes de campagne dans un paysage assez vallonné. La promenade mène à la chapelle Petrus Ascanus de 1891, construite en l'honneur de Pieter Van der Slachmolen, habitant d'Assen, qui, en tant que frère franciscain Petrus Ascanus, a été pendu par les mendiants de mer à Den Briel, aux Pays-Bas, en 1572. L'homme a été canonisé en 1867 avec 18 de ses pairs. Le nom d'Ascanus apparaît ici et là à Asse.
