Les Alpes bernoises sont un massif montagneux situé dans la partie centrale des Alpes en Suisse. Bien que son nom suggère qu'elles se situent dans l'Oberland bernois, une partie des Alpes bernoises est située dans les cantons adjacents de Vaud, Fribourg et du Valais.
Les Alpes bernoises sont drainées par l'Aar au nord-est, son affluent la Sarine au nord-ouest et le Rhône à l'ouest et au sud.
