Près de cet endroit, non loin de Magdebourg, se trouve le circuit du Motopark où se déroule notamment le DTM. L'un des trois circuits de course dans l'ex-est qui valent le détour. Il y a aussi le Sachsenring à Hohenstein-Ernstthal (non loin de Chemnitz) et l'imposant EuroSpeedway Lusatia (A13 Berlin-Bremen ; sortie 15).
